Above, Beyond
Clare Humphries and Peter Humphries
Above, Beyond is an exhibition of print-based and painting works that explore celestial space (above), and panoramic terrestrial landscapes (beyond) from around Australia. The exhibition brings together the works of two artists, father and daughter, who have spent many years drawing, painting and printing alongside one another, including time spent together in rural and remote regions of the continent. Each artists’ practice explores the experience of being within place, particularly where wide and unobstructed views offer sensations of wonderment and connectedness to land and sky.

A Common Thread Myra Kaufman Solo Exhibition A Common Thread is a multi-themed exhibition, the culmination of 5 years of linocuts, collagraphs, monoprints and mixed media collages many of which Myra created at home printing by hand during lockdown. The common link, or rather the common thread, tying the variety of images was the inspiration derived from Myra’s personal collection of laces, doilies, crocheted and embroidered odds and sods housed in old suitcases. For Myra these hand-me-down items represent a link to family stories, tales of surviving war and new beginnings in a new land. 19th June - 6th July Opening Celebration: Saturday 22nd June 2-4pm ARTIST TALK: Friday 5th of July 11am |

"Swooping Season is my tribute to the Magpies that have been sharing our home and inspiring my art practice for the past 10 years. I feel most fortunate to have had the privilege of observing the yearly breeding cycle and learning about Magpie family behaviour over this time period.
I share my respect and love for these amazing birds through this selection of prints, watercolours and artist books."
