FPS Summer Art Market
After the success of the inaugural Summer Art Market, FPS is once again hosting this event and inviting FPS MEMBERS ONLY to apply for a table space on the day. This year's Market will be on the 22nd of November from 11am - 4pm.
Details for Applicants:
This year we have opened up an expression of interest process, this can be done through a quick online form HERE that runs through a few simple questions. These forms will be reviewed by the Exhibitions Manager and Director who will then confirm spaces with artists in July.
Costs:
We have a range of table options in the Studio and Backroom spaces of the Firestation building, see pricing below:
Table with wall*: $120
Table without wall: $100
Half Table: $80 - $95
*All Tables with a Wall space have magnetic stripping for display of works, check with staff once selected if hanging wires are availble for your space.
All Market stallholders will also get a $20 credit towards the Off The Wall exhibition to include works in the show

Can I apply to have a stand with another artist?
Yes, If you wish to share a table with another artist please fill out one form only
Do I have to be a member to participate in the market?
Yes, all participants in the market should be FPS Members, you can renew or sign up for membership HERE
How do payments work at the market?
Firestation recommends that artist organise a square device or other payment system they can use on the day to take card payments, or have a small change float for cash payments. For those who wish for FPS to handle payments through our office
Is comission taken on sales?
No comission is taken on market sales but if you require FPS to handle payments through the office a 5% processing and handling fee will be charged on your final owed payment from sales.
Do I need to supply packing material?
Yes, FPS will not be responsible for packaging of sold good which should be done by stall holders.
Can I sell FPS Artist Cards?
Any cards purchased through our card fundraiser must be sold in groups to differentiate from FPS Cards.
What is required to have a market table?
We recommend for some tables and spaces that a tablecloth or paper be placed down as we are operating in a studio, this helps everything look clean and tidy on the day.
I don't have enough work for a market table, How can I be involved in this event?
Alongside our market we have our annual Off The Wall exhibtion where our members can enter art and crafted items for sale. Applications for this show will be available in July.
