Artist Cressida Campbell is one of Australia’s most talented and prolific printmakers. Using woodblocks and watercolour paints explore the possibilities practicing her unique technique. Students will be shown how to cut, paint and prepare the woodblocks then print using a barren to achieve stunning results.
Susan Baran is a Sydney based printmaker. She has over 30 years experience teaching all methods of printmaking. She has taught classes and workshops throughout Australia and overseas at the National Art School, Warringah Printmakers Studio, Baldessin Press, the Art Vault, Newcastle Printmakers and Art Print Residence in Barcelona. Susan is a member of Sydney Printmakers and is currently on the committee of the Print Council of Australia.

Learn to create woodcut prints like renowned printmaker Cressida Campbell who recently had an exhibition on at the National Gallery of Australia in Canberra. Learn how to prepare the block and print using this unusual and unique technique.
Studio work on approx A4 size plywood blocks. Students will complete 1-2 blocks in the workshop.
