Weekend workshop March 13 & 14, 2021

Welcome to a class where you can make a simple monoprint drawing, overprint on old work, use an existing plate, and throw all sorts of colors, textures and print techniques down on your surface. Build up layers quickly or take your time slowly wiping away layers of ink to subtly control light and shadow- it’s up to you. You will end up with a unique piece of work suitable for entry into the Firestation’s Monoprint Prize, if you wish.

In any case you will have the opportunity to have fun learning and experimenting with this endlessly various medium
